How long does the course take to complete?

Each of the study programs differ, although you should allow a year to complete your course.  However, it is entirely possible to complete within 6 months or less if your schedule allows.  Upon completion of each module, you simply have to answer 10-20 questions.

Having not studied for a long time, will I find it too difficult?

Many of our students are in a similar position.  With our courses, you can learn at your own pace and in your own home.  We cater to your schedule, so there is no pressure or competition to cause you anxiety.  We also have friendly tutors that can help you overcome any problems you may face along the way.

How will I be assessed?

Each lesson is finalised by completing a questionnaire on the material you have just learnt.  This way, our tutors are able to evaluate your progress and assist you if any difficulties arise.  As a student, you will receive personal and ongoing support from our qualified practitioner tutors.  Your friendly tutor will guide you through until you gain your Award.

How exactly does a home-study course work?

Home-study is a flexible approach to learning. You´re not tied down to fixed start dates, although you are expected to complete within one year. Once you enrol in your chosen course, we will send you the initial course materials and you can get started straight away. You will complete and submit your assignments to your tutor progressively and they will be sent back to you assessed along with your next modules.

What recognition will I receive at the end of my course?

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive your Certificate or Diploma and will be entitled to use post-nominal letters HH (Health and Harmony). Plus, you will have new knowledge to assist you in your career or life direction.  Additionally, we are a full training provider of the International Institute for Complimentary Therapists. All of our students are entitled to apply for student membership and progress to full membership status when they have completed their course.

What insurance will I be eligible for as a practitioner?

Where applicable, qualified students are eligible for cover from Professional Indemnity Insurers. This cover is considered essential for the professional practitioner and their clients in today´s climate. For more information, please contact the college.
