What Is Intuitive Spiritual Healing? Plus a 30-second test to try

Reading time: 5 minutes

Something is shifting in how we think about wellbeing. More and more people are stepping past the surface and asking the deeper questions: not just how do I feel better, but why do I keep feeling this way, and what is my body actually trying to tell me?

Intuitive spiritual healing is one of the answers people are finding. And if you've landed here, chances are some part of you already knows there's more to healing than what conventional approaches have offered.

This guide walks through what intuitive spiritual healing actually is, why it's growing so quickly in Australia, what it involves in practice, and how you can start developing your own intuition today, including a short test you can try yourself.

What is intuitive spiritual healing?

Intuitive spiritual healing brings together two threads: intuition and energy. It's the practice of learning to listen — really listen — to the signals your body, mind, and spirit are constantly sending.

It recognises that we are not just physical beings. True healing often requires us to tend to more than the surface: the emotional body, the energy field, and the inner knowing that gets drowned out by everyday noise.

This isn't a fringe idea. Ancient healing traditions across cultures have long understood that body, mind, and spirit are deeply interconnected. What's changing now is that more people in the modern world are rediscovering this wisdom and finding practical ways to apply it.

Why are so many people drawn to it?

The honest answer is that people are tired. Tired of feeling disconnected from themselves. Tired of managing symptoms without addressing root causes. Tired of looking everywhere outside themselves for answers that seem to live somewhere much closer to home.

Intuitive spiritual healing offers something different. It offers a path inward. A way of:

  • Developing trust in your own knowing
  • Understanding your energy field
  • Working with your emotional landscape
  • Building a relationship with yourself that is honest, compassionate, and nourishing

For some people, the entry point is Reiki or energy work. For others it's the chakra system, dream work, or meditation. Some are drawn to crystals and flower essences, others to spirit guides and prayer. Some arrive through grief, anxiety, or a quiet sense that there has to be more to life than this.

Whatever the entry point, the destination tends to be the same: a deeper connection to self, and a life that feels more aligned.

Test your intuition

We've put together a short crystal intuition test on TikTok. Two hands, two crystals. The one you're drawn to says something about where your intuition is pulling you right now.

Once you've made your choice, watch the matching reveal.

Chose the right hand? Watch the right-hand reveal:

No overthinking. The first hand your eye lands on is your answer. That small pull you feel, that's intuition doing exactly what it's designed to do.

If this kind of work fascinates you, it's exactly what we teach in the Intuitive Spiritual Healing Practitioner Course, but more on that below.

What does intuitive spiritual healing involve?

Intuitive spiritual healing is a broad and rich field. At its heart, it involves six core areas:

  1. Developing your intuition. Learning to recognise and trust your inner signals, understand how stress affects your intuitive abilities, and discover how the mind and body communicate with each other.

  2. Understanding energy. Exploring the human energy field, the subtle body, the chakras, and the etheric planes. Learning how energy moves, where it gets stuck, and how to work with it.

  3. Connecting with support. Whether through spirit guides, angels, prayer, or meditation, many practitioners find that opening to a sense of support beyond the visible world brings real comfort and clarity.

  4. Working with the emotional body. Addressing grief, anxiety, depression, and the patterns held in the subconscious. Practising self-love not as a concept, but as a daily, lived experience.

  5. Exploring healing tools and practices. From Reiki and channelling to crystals, flower essences, sacred space, and dream interpretation, there's a wide range of practices that support this work.

  6. Bringing it into relationship. Learning to use intuition in how we relate to others, navigate love and conflict, and make decisions that align with our deeper values.

What it looks like in practice

For most people, this work begins quietly. You start noticing the moments your gut was right. You learn to pause before reacting. You begin to recognise when your energy feels heavy, and you build a few simple practices to clear it.

Over time, what felt random starts to feel like a language, one your body has been speaking all along.

Many people who walk this path eventually want to share it. They become intuitive healers, energy workers, spiritual counsellors, or weave these skills into existing careers in yoga, counselling, nursing, or coaching. Others simply use it for themselves to navigate their own lives with more clarity, calm, and trust.

There's no single shape to it. There's only the next honest step.
